Richard Greenby

Richard qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has been a Partner with us since 2017. He has previously worked as a solicitor at law firms in Hampstead, Central London and in Hertfordshire. He had in the early part of his career worked in the insolvency sector for a top accountancy practice, working on corporate insolvencies and litigation and he has an insolvency qualification.
EXPERIENCE
His extensive experience in residential and commercial property transactions acting for landlords and tenants, buyers and sellers, which has given him a keen insight into his clients’ requirements and how best they can be obtained.
His residential property work includes:
- The acquisition and disposal of high value freehold and leasehold properties and attending to the funding arrangements;
- Acting for landlords and tenants on the grant and disposal of leases relating to maisonettes, purpose built blocks of flats, converted properties and new developments;
- Acting for landlords and tenants on Individual extension of leases and Collective Enfranchisements.
His commercial property work includes:
- The acquisition and disposal of offices, restaurants/bars and retail premises and attending to the funding arrangements;
- Attending to the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases for landlords and tenants;
Recent work
- Acting for a developer on the granting of leases in a prestigious development.
- Acting for the sellers on a Probate matter requiring an urgent grant of Probate for an expedited sale.
- Acting on the sale of a high value converted Property.
- Dealing with numerous maisonette purchases, flat purchases and sales.
