Sian joined Lewis Nedas in December 2023 in the role of Paralegal based in our Oxford Office.
She works closely with Alice and Claudia in preparing both Magistrates Court and Crown Court Cases. Some of these include sexual assault, burglary, false imprisonment, robbery and kidnap. She works with specialist barristers from Chambers in London and Oxford to get the best outcome for our clients. This involves taking instructions from clients, contacting witnesses and arranging experts such as psychiatrists and psychologists.
Sian attends court hearings and assists our clients in understanding the court procedure.
Currently, Sian is working towards becoming a police station accredited representative which will allow her to represent clients in the police station when being interviewed under caution.
Education
Sian graduated from East London University in 2022, achieving a 2:1 in Criminology and Law and aspires to continue training to become a qualified solicitor.
Personal Interests
Sian is part of a competitive netball team where she plays several times a week within an Oxfordshire League. She also enjoys going to concerts and travelling to new places in her spare time.
