- an individual facing multiple offences of making articles in the use of fraud which related to the alleged fraudulent activity of another resulting in victims losing significant sums of several hundred thousand pounds.
- The matter was investigated by the City of London police fraud department.
- Defence representations and submissions were made throughout this matter seeking a crown review of the charges and following an aborted first trial the crown accepted at a late stage the case was untenable and offered no evidence on all matters.
