Tony Meisels secured acquittal

for a client facing charges of causing GBH with intent and unlawful wounding. The jury took little more than 1 hour to reach their not-guilty verdicts.

The complainant was his ex-partner who had unexpectedly attended the client's address in the early hours of the morning a few days before Xmas 2019. As she was causing a scene the client had to escort her off the premises but, as she was very inebriated, she slipped and fell fracturing her ankle. She then falsely alleged that the client had kicked and stamped on her leg leading to the above charges.

The client was ably represented by Tony Meisels of Lewis Nedas and Francesca Levett at 5 St Andrews Hill.
