Jeffrey represented directors of a high profile professional services firm, who were the subject of a long running HMRC investigation which focused upon an "umbrella fraud".

These are particularly time consuming and complex fraud allegations, concerning the provision of professional services and VAT. Thankfully, after Jeffrey’s pro-active approach to the case HMRC concluded that our clients had not committed any criminal tax offences and the investigation was discharged.
