secured the following excellent acquittal and sentencing results
- acquittals for a defendant facing seven counts on indictment, including two rape allegations. As a result of Naomi’s diligent preparation she noted that the complainant / alleged victim had made several false allegations of rape against others.
- another acquittal for a client facing four counts on indictment, very serious offences including non fatal strangulation. Naomi’s client acquitted on the first day of trial after she presented extensive expert evidence and multiple exhibits.
- secured a suspended sentence for a defendant who faced a complex allegation of ‘reverse human trafficking‘.
- secured a community sentence order for a client who ran a cannabis factory at home.

- of a defendant accused of child abduction.
This was a complex and emotive case, following an allegation that the defendant breached a court order after travelling across Europe with her child, without formal permission.
She was arrested at one of the European borders and waited in detention pending extradition. She was offered immediate bail upon her return to the U.K. provided that she entered an early guilty plea, which our client refused. She was found Not Guilty by the Jury who heard her account and that of family witnesses.
