Miles Herman represented an individual charged with conspiracy to prevent an unlawful burial. This was a complex, multi-handed case involving significant challenges for the defence at trial.

Following a three week trial, the jury were unable to reach a verdict and a decision was made by the Crown Prosecution Service not to proceed with a re-trial, in light of the evidence that was presented during this trial.

The client understandably was delighted, having faced a significant prison sentence in the event of conviction.
