Ian Coupland has just completed, on behalf of a client ,the sale of £2.2 M share sale, despite the difficulties of the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown.

This involved delivering important documents to the homes of the lawyers acting for the purchasers (rather than their offices in the pre lockdown era) and a telephone completion meeting .

2. Crime

Siobhain Egan successfully represented a banker who had been subject to a full FCA criminal investigation, concerning numerous allegations of insider dealing which lasted some 18 months. Siobhain pursued her usual pro-active approach and sent detailed written representations focusing upon the merits of a pending criminal prosecution to them , the FCA decided to drop the criminal proceedings.They also decided against regulatory proceedings. Our client was delighted .
