Background

Mary is an Associate Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts and Probate Department and was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in January 2009. She has extensive experience advising individuals and families on a wide range of private client matters and has worked across Legal 500 and top 200 law firms, acting for clients with both straightforward and complex needs.

Mary advises on all aspects of private client work, including wills, codicils, probate and estate administration (including high-value estates and inheritance tax planning. She also has considerable experience in advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney for both property and financial affairs and health and welfare.

Her expertise further includes estate and tax planning, Deeds of Variation, Deputyship applications and cross-border estate administrations. Mary is known for providing clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s circumstances, with a strong focus on delivering a high standard of client care.

Mary joined Lewis Nedas Law in January  2026, where she continues to advise clients on a broad range of private client matters. She has previously held senior leadership roles, including Head of Private Client, and brings a depth of technical knowledge and experience to her work.
