Excellent Tax Case Results for Keith Wood

Tax-LawKeith Wood recently acted in two breaches of trading without security contrary to the VAT Act 1994.

In one case, the security ought to have been offset by the tax owed, and Keith managed to arrange things so that, upon sentence, the compensation award (which generally equates to the level of the requirement sought) was not asked for, saving the company over £100,000 in penalties.

In the other case, Keith secured a minimal fine for the director following submissions on sentence.
