Sam Corcoran represented Mr Khalil, the Junior Minister for Sport and part of Egypt’s Paralympic delegation, in a sexual assault allegation at City of London Magistrates’ Court.
Mr Khalil issued a formal apology and made clear his sincere regret, and the Court accepted his apology ‘on the basis that it is a one-off error of judgment’, ordering him to pay a fine, prosecution costs, and compensation to the alleged victim.
