- This was a complex trial - our client faces four allegations of rape, controlling and coercive behaviour.
- He raised an alibi as a defence to some of the allegations of rape and denied that the remaining allegations took place.
- He was able to show via his bank accounts that he was elsewhere during the time within which some of the rape allegations were made. His bank was summoned to produce his bank statements, and the timings of his spending, which supported his albi completely.
- It was also alleged that he had placed “spy ware“ upon the complainant's phone, though the Crown did not produce any evidence supporting this allegation and an independent phone expert, instructed by both Sean and Rozhin denied that could have been the case.
