A) represented a defendant who was one of 25 arrestees in a large complex undercover drugs supply prosecution in the South East. The Sentencing Guidelines indicated a sentence of between 6-7 years, as a result of excellent mitigation and advocacy skills, our client received a sentence of 33 months imprisonment.

B) represented a client who pleaded guilty in the Crown Court to an allegation of conspiring to defraud, a number of older people of their life savings whilst pretending to be a serving police officer. This is a topical offence, which is viewed very seriously by the Courts (and the general public ) and again would ordinarily have attracted a lengthy custodial sentence, however as a result of detailed preparation and mitigation our client received a community order.
