- Unan Choudhury represented a man of good character who faced an allegation of blackmailing his former employer. The prosecutions case was based on one text, in which he was alleged to have demanded with menaces to the sum of £150,000. However, as a result of Unan’s thorough and diligent case preparation and investigation of the case, he discovered that the CPS interpreter had misinterpreted the all important text; the defendant had asked for the sum of 150,000 Bangladeshi Taka and not sterling.
