LNL victory for disabled shooter

Our resident firearms law specialist Laura Saunsbury has been acting for a disabled shooter who had his firearm certificate revoked by his local police force without proper justification. Shooting is one of those rare sports which is a great leveller and enables those with disabilities to compete on a level playing field with the able-bodied. Laura’s client is an active member of his local club who was therefore delighted when she persuaded the police to reinstate his certificate without the Crown Court having to hear the appeal. Laura worked closely with BASC (British Association of Shooting & Conservation) in overturning this injustice.

On expressing his thanks to Laura, our client said “You’re a star, thank you, you’ve been amazing”.
