Unan Choudhury and Naomi Debidin represented a client charged with attempted murder, wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Following extensive preparation, including liaising with multiple international witnesses, obtaining expert evidence, and managing the complexities of three separate trial listings, a guilty plea was ultimately accepted to the lesser offence of unlawful wounding contrary to section 20. The instructed advocate was Shahida Begum of Garden Court Chambers.
