Mavalynne is an experienced duty qualified Solicitor and police station representative based in our Oxford office.

BACKGROUND

After having been called to the Bar, she qualified as a barrister at the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in November 2011, where she began her career in London. Mavalynne was then admitted to the Law Society Roll of Solicitors in April 2016.

She became a police station and court duty qualified solicitor in 2017.

EXPERIENCE

Over the past 14 years of working within the criminal justice system, Mavalynne has represented countless clients at the Police Station, and has dealt with a large variety of Magistrates Court and Crown Court cases, including (but not limited to): complex money laundering and serious fraud, robbery, burglary, drug offences, sexual offences, grievous bodily harm, conspiracies, thefts, assaults, public order offences, motoring offences and taxi licensing appeals.

Before joining Lewis Nedas, Mavalynne held a management role at her previous firm, where she was responsible for running the Magistrates and Police Station Departments.

Mavalynne prides herself in being very passionate about her work and always strives to understand her client’s needs and achieve the best possible result for them. She always gives her all to anyone she represents, and has been praised for helping her clients get through very difficult times and help them understand very complex and daunting proceedings.

LANGUAGES

Mavalynne is also fluent in Spanish. She can take instructions directly from a client in Spanish without the need for an interpreter.
