represented
- a professional man who faced charges of possession of Cat A images (child pornography) and that he had used specialist software to avoid detection by the authorities. This was his second series of offenses, having been convicted for similar offences some years before. The client found himself subject to a lengthy investigation over 18 months and was facing an immediate custodial sentence. However, as a result of detailed mitigation, reports from a leading Consultant Forensic psychiatrist, a senior therapist, and various medical reports the Sentencing Judge ordered a second suspended sentence of imprisonment together with a requirement to attend therapy. The excellent Nicola Cafferkey (33 Bedford Row) of Counsel represented our client.
