1. Solicitor acquitted of money laundering charges. Sean and Eiran Reilly (advocate) successfully represented a solicitor who faced Crown Court trial charges of complex banking fraud and money laundering. The background of which is a sophisticated high level, international banking fraud conspiracy, involving "insiders/employees". Eiran raised a strong legal submission at the close of the Prosecution case, arguing that there was not any evidence against his client linking him with fraud or the conspiracy to defraud or the laundering of the stolen monies, the trial Judge agreed and the case was dismissed.

2. Siobhain Egan (instructing Dee Connolly of Counsel) secured the acquittal of a former Wealth fund manager who faced an allegation of sexual assault, which originated twenty one years ago. Press reporting restrictions were ordered because this case is linked to another case which has attracted Nationwide publicity. Disclosure in these proceedings was particularly important to the defence and after numerous protracted arguments and submissions The CPS reluctantly produced the documents and confirmation of issues as we required. The jury acquitted within an hour, much to the delight of our client.

The owner of a highly respected Art Gallery who faced a full police investigation after he was accused of rape, the investigation went on for many months, but thankfully, as a result of skilful handling of the police interview, detailed analysis of all social media communications and lengthy written representations, the investigation was dropped against our client.
2. The Chairman of a fintech company investigated for dishonesty, again after detailed representations and submissions, the matter was dropped.
3. A senior Commodities Trader facing prosecution for fraud, all matters were discontinued after in-depth written representations were made upon his behalf.
