- represented a businessman accused and investigated of commissioning of child sex offences abroad, following enquiries abroad made by us and representations to the investigating U.K. police force, the investigation was discontinued.
- represented a professional man found in possession of many hundreds of illegal child images (A and B), videos and who originally investigated following allegations of voyeurism (which were eventually discontinued) Our client was investigated for nearly two years, he followed our advice to the letter - early full admissions during Police interview, he sought the assistance of a specialist therapist shortly after arrest, completed various on line courses, and instructed one of the leading Consultant psychiatrists in the U.K to prepare a full report and assessment. He was represented by the excellent Nichola Cafferkey of Counsel and received a suspended sentence of imprisonment at the Crown Court .
- represented a Company Director, who was accused of voyeurism, the victim was a member of his domestic staff and involved the placement of cameras in certain areas of the family home by our client. Again, he also faced a lengthy period of investigation but used the time to consult a specialist therapist, completed various on line courses, made full admissions during police interview and instructed a well known Consultant forensic psychiatrist to prepare a full assessment and report, such preparatory work persuaded the Court not to impose an immediate period of imprisonment.
