The SFO announced on 13th October 2021 that its six-year-old investigation into Quindell plc and several of its Directors has been closed without any further action.

Siobhain Egan represented two of the Company’s Directors during that period, both of whom faced days of in-depth interviews with the SFO, and upon whose behalf detailed letters of representations were sent to that investigatory body explaining that there was no evidence of any criminal activity within the huge volume of material seized by the authorities.

The decision by the SFO finally, confirms and reinforces both of our client's defences which they have consistently maintained throughout the investigation and they are delighted to have been finally vindicated.
