Based at our East London office. Adam is an experienced solicitor with a significant client base in East and North London.

Tenacious and unafraid to challenge police decisions and decisions of the Court regarding bail, searches and the taking of intimate samples. Adam recently issued Judicial Review Proceedings against a Magistrates Court.

Adam is a tenacious and persuasive advocate and is well known and respected amongst the London Courts.

He has meticulous case preparation skills and leaves no stone unturned when preparing for trial. He regularly makes applications to the Court in order to challenge and undermine the Prosecution.

Adam has a keen interest in representing defendants from the LGBTQ community.

Helen NicholasTrainee Solicitor

Helen joined Lewis Nedas Law as a paralegal in the Conveyancing Department of the firm in 2015, having successfully completed her law degree the previous year.

Upon commencement of the LPC at the University of Law in September 2017, Helen is now undertaking her training contract with the firm and is happy to assist clients on a range of residential and commercial property-related matters.

Helen is highly praised for her empathetic and enthusiastic approach to clients’ needs, as well as her sharp attention to detail.

Away from the office Helen enjoys travelling and cooking, and works closely with animal charity work.

Myles Reback LLB (Hons)Solicitor

Deals with Wills & Probate, Trusts and Inheritance Tax, Lasting Powers of Attorney

Admitted as a solicitor for over 22 years Myles’s strength is in lifetime planning and post death administration. He prides himself in being able to deal sympathetically with bereaved relatives and to minimise any stress to the families involved.

He is used to handling very high net worth individual cases in London and the south-east and also dealing with assets overseas and the complex issues often involved.

He deals with trust and tax planning for individuals in a cost effective and efficient manner. He advises on post death arrangements to mitigate inheritance tax and fully explains the probate process.

He has lectured to accountants and financial advisers and he is able to translate complex legal jargon into straightforward English.

He has been married for nearly 20 years and in his spare time what there is of it enjoys watching football despite being a Queens Park Rangers fan and spending time with his young family.

Ian CouplandDirector

Ian is a Director at Lewis Nedas Law, having previously been a Partner at two top-200 law firms.

He has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of business and commercial law, employment, insolvency, litigation and regulatory law. He qualified in 1988.

Ian is well known for his litigation expertise, including heavyweight contractual and commercial disputes, frauds, partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, and property issues. He is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association.

Ian has acted for many national and international companies and financial institutions. He is well used to obtaining urgent injunctions, especially freezing orders, both in the UK and in other jurisdictions, and he is authorised to be a supervising solicitor for search and seizure orders. He issued the first action in the North East Mercantile Court relating to a multi-jurisdictional delivery of goods dispute.

Ian has lectured extensively on the subjects of business lease renewals, dilapidations, and remedies for tenant default, to fellow lawyers and surveyors on behalf of various organisations. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Ian has an increasing regulatory practise. He is a member of the Association of Regulatory & Disciplinary Lawyers. Published decisions include:

Ian was born in Hull, as was his wife. He is an avid sports fan, still plays football, and he and his wife spend a lot of time following Hull City home and away (including Wembley!)
