  • failure to stopJames Reilly successfully represented a professional woman, whose employment depended upon her maintaining her driving license. She faced the following charges; careless driving and failing to stop and report an accident. James made a strong legal submission up to the close of the prosecution case and our client was acquitted;

  • Unan Choudhury represented a man of good character who faced an allegation of blackmailing his former employer. The prosecutions case was based on one text, in which he was alleged to have demanded with menaces to the sum of £150,000. However, as a result of Unan's thorough and diligent case preparation and investigation of the case, he discovered that the CPS interpreter had misinterpreted the all important text; the defendant had asked for the sum of 150,000 Bangladeshi Taka and not sterling. Additionally, Unan went on to prove by a thorough analysis of bank accounts, HMRC and employment records that our client was genuinely owed money by his former employer (complainant) who had not wanted to pay it to our client. The jury acquitted in 30mins.

  • Miles Herman represented an individual who faced a Crown Court trial, following an allegation of rape. It was an unusual and complex trial, thoroughly prepared by Miles, and the Crown relied upon the evidence of a third party who supported the allegation of rape. The superb John Carmichael was the barrister instructed. The jury quickly acquitted our client.

  • Giovanni Lombardo and Tony Meisels represented a professional man accused by two of his patients, independently, of sexual assault. The case was thoroughly prepared by Tony Meisels, assisted by the excellent Celena Field. The superb Jeremy Lynn of Counsel represented the defendant who was quickly acquitted by the Jury.
