New SOCA Drugs Prosecution

Lewis Nedas & Co have been instructed on a SOCA investigation of a major importation of controlled drugs into the UK. The case concerns two linked importations.
On 23 July 2008, 16kg of cocaine were transported and on 28 November 2008 32kg of cocaine, 57kg of heroin and 117kg of amphetamine sulphate were concealed in a shipment to the UK.
Five persons were arrested, interviewed and charged and are due to appear at a committal hearing at Haywards Heath Magistrates’ Court on 2 December 2009.
Jeffrey Lewis and Miles Herman are dealing.
